US TiVo users pick up Domino's Pizza ordering / tracking abilities

Clearly catering towards the wants, nay, needs of the average American couch potato is TiVo and Domino's Pizza, which have collaborated in order to bring on-sofa pizza ordering to broadband-connected TiVo subscribers. If you'll recall, this service was actually announced for Australia earlier this month, but users in the US of A get the first chance to indulge. 'Course, this is far from the first unorthodox method of ordering pizza, and the lack of a scheduled delivery option is certainly a weak point, but this widget does reveal that all sorts of differentiating applications could eventually find their way to a TiVo box near you. Feel free to give it a spin tonight, but don't blame us if that backlit remote gets dimmed from grease seeping into the crevices.

SIM2 delivers $5,000 1080p DOMINO D60 DLP projector

SIM2's DOMINO line -- okay, SIM2's entire line -- isn't known for being the cheapest bunch. The new DOMINO D60, however, is actually affordable by said company's standards, checking in at just 4,995 US dollars. This 1080p beamer is based on Texas Instruments' DarkChip3 0.95-inch DMD chipset and includes a single-chip DLP projection system, BrilliantColor, three different preset modes (Cinema, Dynamic, and Standard) and three user-customizable memories. It's shipping now for those with fat wallets.

iStuff offers up Domino 2.1 iPod speaker station

Considering that the trendy white iPod HiFi is no more, it's no surprise to see another company filling the void with a rectangular iPod speaker station of its own. The iStuff Domino 2.1 sports an eerily familiar layout, 30 total watts of amplification, a pair of two-inch wide-range drivers coupled with two three-inch magnetically shielded fiberglass cone subwoofers, an S-Video output, USB connector, 3.5-millimeter auxiliary input and RCA stereo outs. Furthermore, this unit claims to play nice with the newest family of iPods, comes with a wireless remote and can be snapped up right now for £99.99 ($204).
