Transformers 2 Blu-ray packs special features inside & out October 20 {Engadget HD}

Aug 22nd 2009 12:08AM I'd care if this wasn't the worst movie of 2009.

Nielsen sees DTV unreadiness drop to just 1.1% {Engadget HD}

Jul 30th 2009 10:43PM Is there a 1.1% margin of error?

Raleigh, North Carolina buses get on-board DTV {Engadget HD}

Apr 17th 2009 2:33AM This is nothing new. In Hong Kong, Samsung LCD's have been on the buses here for over 5 years. They mostly show advertising for products, movie trailers (only thing I like to see) and some variety show stuff.

Linksys by Cisco PLTK300 Powerline kit is pretty, sluggish {Engadget HD}

Mar 22nd 2009 11:51AM I have this exactly model running through my condo and I push 3GB+ HD files from my bedroom to my plasma tv (hooked up to a Popcorn Hour A-100) in the living room with no problems whatsoever. Sluggish? Hardly. Frame drops? Maybe only 2% of the time.

It should be noted, that just because it says 200Mbps it won't push that much since the Ethernet ports are only 10/100 hence only 100Mbps TOPS.

But still a GREAT powerline product, highly recommended.

Poll: Were you / are you planning to buy a plasma? {Engadget HD}

Mar 1st 2009 5:34AM I have 65" and 42" Panasonic Plasmas and I am the happiest person in the world with these televisions. I did a side-by-side comparison of a 40" Sony XBR and 42" Panasonic Plasma 800 models, was allowed to calibrate them myself and I have to admit they looked very similar but I had to give the edge to the Panasonic. The PQ just felt much more natural to my eyes than the Sony LCD did. I've watched plenty of programming with permanent TV logos and news tickers but have never had a burn in issue, EVER. Heck I'm even planning to buy another 42" Panasonic plasma for my bedroom. So long as Panasonic keeps making these amazing panels, I don't care if everyone else dumps plasma, more for Panasonic and me :D.

Hong Kong's now TV offering Disney / ABC shows on HD VOD {Engadget HD}

Nov 29th 2008 12:11PM UGH! Hong Kong has the CRAPPIEST selection of HD content. Although this HD VOD may help a little, the outrageous prices by NOW-TV are still there and they need to start offering HD bundle packages. US$6.50 per HD channel, ya I think I'll PASS!

Nielsen VideoScan High-Def market share for week ending November 2nd, 2008 {Engadget HD}

Nov 12th 2008 10:35PM Content is king. Releasing titles like STREET FIGHTER aren't exactly going to make blu-ray popular with the consumers :p lol

Olympics viewership through the roof, HDTV / internet to thank? {Engadget HD}

Aug 12th 2008 2:46PM If the Olympics weren't in HD, odds are I wouldn't be watching them as much as I am.
