Oct 13th 2009 9:39AM Here are a list of PROFESSIONAL Formats that shoot 1080p as 1440 x 1080 and then stretch it out in editing software.

HDV
DVCPRO HD
It is not uncommon to squeeze it that way and then stretch it automatically in any quicklime player or editing software.
