Battlestar Galactica Complete Series box pictures jump in {Engadget HD}
Jun 13th 2009 9:50AM what was everyone expecting? It's the complete series of what will be debated as the (if not one of) best sci-fi series in television history and it's in HD to boot! I will buy it, it's history and it will be the marker that all other sci-fi television tries to hit, never mind pass. Everyone expets everything to be so cheap, I think it's worth every penny and, if I'm not mistaken, Razor is included in this set too. I'll buy it on it's release date.

Jun 9th 2009 9:13PM Sorry, this does not really compare to the Oppo BDP83 which in addtion to all that this player does, the Oppo also has 7.1 analog out, 2 USB ports, both usable at the same time, SACD, DVD=A. this player won't hold a candle to the Oppo and yes, I own the Oppo player, it's incredibly fast loading for all media it plays and it has a dedicated analog stereo out too. i'd sleep with my oppo if i could!
Emotiva sets the UMC-1 processor for next month, more goodies to come {Engadget HD}
Jun 6th 2009 10:47PM I recently purchased an amp from Emotiva, the XPA-5 @ 250wpc x5 all channels driven and it is a beast! everything sounds so much better and alive. I can't wait to replace my current receiver with the UMC-1, I am hoping to have one by the end of the month if possible! I will, at the same time purchase another amp, the UPA-2 so I can pick up my 2 channel surround back speakers 7.1 and I am rolling! Excellent job so far, I'm an Emo man and proud of it!
