Mar 21st 2009 12:06AM So, not using a USB port means having to use a power plug? Or is this battery powered? Since it's my understanding that the USB ports are now powered even when the PS3 is off (for recharging controllers) I'd rather give up a USB port than having to find room for another plug.

It's called simple fact checking. This lightning fast blog news has access to something called Google. Would've taken longer to write and post this news than it would take to see that Stargate is MGM.

The pricing on TV boxsets on both sides of the format is ridiculous. $99 MSRP is insane for what is essentially only 24 episodes, irregardless of what Amazon may charge in the end.
I'll wait for a used copy to show up on some forums or on eBay. Let someone else take the depreciation hit on this.
