BlackBerry Storm2 hands-on and impressions {Engadget}

Nov 12th 2009 4:04PM I would like to say one thing about the SurePress. I realize many don't like the technology.. Maybe because it was here second..to the Iphone. But let me give an example of how this technology is superior. Imagine the Iphone as a larger device placed on your desk as lets say a keyboard. If you were to type on this device you would have to suspend your fingers above the keys until you were ready to type. Otherwise you would inadvertently be typing. On the other hand if you did the same thing with a SurePress keyboard you would be able to rest your fingers on the keys and they wouldn't actually do anything other than light up until you pressed on them. In addition. It might be worth mentioning that the SurePress can be software turned on and off. Giving the Storm 2 unlimited possibilities in configurations. I think if RIM were to give you the option to enable or disable it for the keyboard they would find they would have a better response to it.

I think if they stick with it. One or two versions down the line this device will be amazing.

PlayStation 3 Slim unboxing and hands-on! {Engadget}

Aug 19th 2009 9:39AM I don't see why these changes are taking them so long. Ok Microsoft.. your turn. These companies acting like the boxes are future proof for a decade are just being stupid.. They need to continue making these minor changes to please the people. Work out the version control people..

Sony's connected BRAVIA HDTVs score Netflix streaming, PS3 left in the cold {Engadget HD}

Jul 10th 2009 8:14AM I haven't the slightest what they are waiting for with the PS3. Everybody seems to be adding this function except the PS3. I can only wonder if that new release the are planning will have this and a whole lot more in it. Only question is .. will it be to little to late..(had to say that.)

Xbox 360 Jasper motherboard with 512MB storage hitting US stores {Engadget}

Jun 17th 2009 11:21AM I don't know why they wouldn't just make a larger bump. I mean be a little proactive people. I mean you know at this day an age it prob cost them more to use the smaller chips. They prob just keep the smaller chips so when it's time to move to the next console you will have to because of limitations of the old console.

Soon, you'll have to pay for Hulu {Daily Finance}

Jun 3rd 2009 4:05PM I see a point to offering premium content for a price. In comparison lets look a couple of things. First of all. Money. How will they make money. They are going to make tons of money off of commercials period. They don't need people to pay for content to make money as long as they offer commercials. Networks have been doing it for decades over the air. It's proven. It works. If they want to opt out of commercials users could pay for that. If they want to offer premium content without commercials people could pay for that.
I think people are willing to pay when they don't feel they are getting raped. Most people just want to feel like they are getting their money's worth. And in this day and age I think that has become less common.

Hulu Desktop app puts a remote control friendly face on for Macs & PCs {Engadget HD}

May 29th 2009 8:37AM This is just more evidence that the market and technology is finally shifting. This is going to be one of the next big changes in our life time. Included with things like the Cell phone and DVR's this will change the way we watch TV. Dynamic content on your screen. The ability to choose things like which stats you want to see during games and whats playing on other channels and more. You will also see the morphing of companies into something completely new as they find that the way they have been distributing content has become archaic overnight.

HDMI 1.4 officially detailed: Ethernet / Audio Return channels, 3D, 4K x 2K support {Engadget HD}

May 28th 2009 2:35PM Come on.. The whole idea was to simplify things. Who is more confused now? Are they just mad cause people realize that they can get the same thing from a 6 dollar cable as they get from the 80 dollar monster cables.. This is retarded. Whats gunna happen is a lot of confusion. Till someone just lets everyone know that cable 3 or was it 4 is all you need for everything.

Analyst sees Wii HD in 2010 {Engadget HD}

May 6th 2009 8:30AM Well they are going to have to step it up. With products like PlayOn that now let you get half the TV you been watching and soon to be more on you PS3 and Xbox360. Sites like thefuzznetwork.com are taking full advantage of this. If Wii does't get off their butts they are going to fall behind. You will soon see Xbox and PS3 pick up the slack on the coolness of the Wii remote. Then Nintendo will fall behind. You can now get everything from Hulu, CBS, YouTube, The Food Network, HGTV, Podcasts, NFL Highlights, NBA Highlights and more through PlayOn. Everyone is going to have the Xbox 360 or PS3 in their living rooms.
