Jun 20th 2009 9:13AM I don't understand the people who say DVD is good enough - then why do you own an HDTV? Yet these same people just have to have football in HD and claim they can't live without it - so why would a movie be any different?
Blu-ray is leaps and bounds better in PQ than DVD. Not just resolution - but color, saturation, and overall picture stability. Aren't those the same reasons you want your football in HD?
Go back to VHS and a 13-inch tube tv if something is "good enough" for you...

Apr 16th 2009 2:06PM Wow - I spoke too soon - apparently Senator Charles Schumer came to Rochester today for a very public appearance to oppose the TW initiative and now TW has stated that they are shelving all plans for caps in Rochester! Victory for the consumers!

Apr 16th 2009 12:26PM This Endadget post is not accurate. The article states that FRONTIER is shelving plans for metered internet - not TW. I live in Rochester - the test market that TW is going to rape starting this summer and they are NOT backing down. There is a strong movement in Rochester and the other test markets that has so far been successful at getting a ton of media attention - so hopefully our outrage will succeed. But, I must repeat, the tests are scheduled to begin this August in Rochester. Head over to www.stopthecap.com for more info.
