Oct 13th 2009 9:27PM You're thinking of it in the wrong way. They are only abhorrent to nature in their visible forms. When simply acting as careers of force, and cannot not be detected, they have not problem existing. But when you force it out of it's normal state into a detectable form in high energy situations, it really doesn't want to be in that form. In fact, that's the deal with a lot of the elementary particles we've discovered, they can only be detected in supercolliders.

Aug 20th 2009 12:19PM I think this "faster" claim will not affect PS3 games but it might support PS2 software BC. The faster claim could refer to maybe sony turning on the 8th SPE. In a sense it would be hardware dependent BC but through emulation. And turning on the 8th SPE might improve background operation speeds.

Aug 19th 2009 9:19PM I'm in the closed beta and they had this so called "universal game launching". Sorry to say it's 70% useless. All it does is launch a game like you would normally launch a game from the xmb, only, you can do it without leaving home. You still have to wait through all the typical load screens and open sequences, set up the game, and invite everyone.
Hopefully, I misunderstood and this "universal" home launching is more than that.

Aug 14th 2009 4:33PM What can sony do? People use to care about quality. People use to care about what matter. (maybe) But lately, all people seem to care about is casual crap. Yes, instead of buying the PS3 and 360 for it's huge collection of great games, lets buy the wii for wii sports and wii fit!!! Lets buy a multimedia device that actually isn't that great at playing music or video but has tons of apps!!!
Sure, sony has had to stoop to lower levels but thats only because consumers have stooped to lower levels.

Aug 5th 2009 5:45PM Well you see, a lot of the researched stuff, especially the ones promising 10x or 100x times the capacity won't be ready for commercial use for many years. When you give it to the automakers they can make less significant improvements but at least they can get going in like 1 or 2 years.
