Sep 17th 2008 12:32AM Trust me, Tivo IS the best! I was going to place the call to DirecTV to cancel service and go with Tivo friendly Time Warner the same day they announced this news. I'm now going to stay with DirecTV and wait till they release this new DirecTivo unit in late 2009. I've had three personal friends in three different households leave Directv because they were tired of their sluggish DVR.
