Assassin's Creed 2 getting double dose of DLC starting January 2010 {Joystiq}

Dec 1st 2009 2:52PM I know that Ubi and others have to get the DLC out shorly after launch, but how about dropping some DLC in summer when there aren't as many releases?

Sony thanks 440,000 customers for giving it money during Black Friday week {Joystiq}

Dec 1st 2009 10:04AM Bring on the games? NO!!!! There are still a bunch of stuff from this year I haven't gotten yet (like Ratchet and Uncharted). Too busy still with stuff from earlier in the year and that !#$& Spec Ops mode in MW2.

I hear what you are saying though. About 6 games that are scheduled for 1st half of 2010... too much for me to be able to buy and have the time to play.

Ubisoft: Assassin's Creed II sold 1.6 million in first week {Joystiq}

Nov 24th 2009 6:37PM It was supposed to be a joke. I'll downvote myself now.

Nov 24th 2009 4:29PM It should be "aren't thinking".

And the only thing that fails more often than a red-ringed 360 is the Joystiq comment and reply system. I was trying to respond to my own comment above.

Nov 24th 2009 4:26PM I hope people are thinking I'm going to pass on the game - I'm not. I am really looking forward to playing this. I am trying to finish off the spec ops missions in MW2 before I move on to the next game though, so it will probably be another week or two before I get to ACII.

It is good to hear though that the problems I've seen on the Ubisoft board aren't happening to everyone. Keep my fingers crossed and I guess look forward to a great game!

Nov 24th 2009 1:01PM Too bad there are so many reports of the PS3 having major glitches, like trophies not working (again), tearing, frame rate droppping, etc. I've already bought the game, but I'm waiting until they work out the problems before I start in on it.

Join Joystiq's MAG army and get a free beta code {Joystiq}

Nov 23rd 2009 3:23PM The game really is shapping up to be something good, and it was alot of fun when I was in it. BC2 is probably going to be the better game, based only on the beta's for the two, but still, if you like shooters than you really should try this out. Just remember to be a team player and listen to your squad leader. Not only is that the best way to win, but for you to get the most points and progress the fastest.

And go Valor.

Sony planning to expand PSN infrastructure to non-game devices {Joystiq}

Nov 19th 2009 5:42PM I know that I can view my friend list at playstation.com, but other than seeing what they are playing and comparing trophies, I can't interact. Typing messages through the PS3 keyboard is time consuming, so I can't send messages easily.

And being able to buy stuff online and have it in a que is so missing from playstation. Honestly, I'd spend more if I could so maybe its for the best. But having the option would be nice.

Sony planning to expand PSN infrastructure to non-game devices {Joystiq}

Nov 19th 2009 4:09PM I'd just be happy if they made PSN something I could access from my computer. Really Sony? There's no way for me to spend money on your PSN games or access my friends list from ANYWHERE other than the XMB? Lame, and kind of stupid. XBox live is so much more accessable.

Sony to release 'non-game' dev kits in Q2 2010 {Joystiq}

Nov 19th 2009 12:40PM Sorry, I'm going to break the off-topic trend by saying this is great news, I think. Anything that gives me more stuff on my PSP or PS3 would be awesome. I'd really love it if Skype comes to the PS3, so I could use my camera as a video chat with people outside of PSN.
