T-Mobile's Project Dark: $99.99 unlimited on Even More, $79.99 on Even More Plus? {Engadget}

Oct 21st 2009 2:18PM Bobo - to be fair, T-mobile hasn't really hyped this. The internet took care of that for them.

Barnes & Noble Nook's first close-up (now with video!) {Engadget}

Oct 20th 2009 5:29PM Keep telling yourself that.

Barnes & Noble Nook e-reader leaks a bit early: $259, pre-orders are live (video) {Engadget}

Oct 20th 2009 2:02PM Worst. Name. Ever. I can't get "nookie reader" out of my head.

iMac line updated with 16:9 displays, quad-core Core i5 / i7 model {Engadget}

Oct 20th 2009 12:28PM I'm more confused at the decision to go with the 4000 series of ATI cards, especially in a relatively cramped area. The new 5000 series are MUCH more power efficient, and would thus put off a lot less heat.

AMD 's new Athlon II processors aim to go easy on the power, your wallet {Engadget}

Oct 20th 2009 11:23AM You all have me and my terrible luck to thank for the timing of this announcement. I just ordered an Athlon II X4 620 on Friday, so of course AMD outs a bunch of new chips before UPS can even deliver the one I bought.

Forthcoming Xbox 360 update locks out 'unauthorized' memory units {Engadget}

Oct 18th 2009 7:05PM Does anybody know if this update will finally give the Xbox 360 the ability to play MKV files? I'm really hoping for this.

New Western Digital WD TV Live media player hits Best Buy {Engadget}

Oct 12th 2009 11:45AM So that we don't have to read the crap that those comments contain. They wouldn't have gotten downranked that much if they were worth reading.

Poll: What part of your home theater is getting upgraded this holiday season? {Engadget HD}

Oct 11th 2009 4:43PM Aah, seating. Just as important (if not more) as any electronic component.

Plus, it's something that the wife doesn't mind being actively involved in picking out.

Poll: What part of your home theater is getting upgraded this holiday season? {Engadget HD}

Oct 11th 2009 4:37PM Lots of upgrades this year (thanks to a new, better paying job).

- Blu-ray player for the main TV
- New TV for the bedroom (replacing a 13in CRT that's about 15 years old, with a 22 or 24in LCD)
- Swapping out the bedroom DVD player for some sort of networked streaming device (I want something that can handle Netflix, MKV, AVI, etc.)
- Pssibly swapping out my launch-era Xbox360 for a new one that uses less power and has HDMI
- Building a new computer, which will double as a gaming machine, and a HTPC (50ft HDMI cable from office to living room)

Samsung Moment for Sprint first hands-on! {Engadget}

Oct 7th 2009 4:11PM 4G is considered "basic" already? I'm sorry, I hadn't realized that I got in a time machine to 2012.
