Samsung's I7500 Android phone shreds in first hands-on video {Engadget}

Android fonts and UI are as ugly or as beautiful as you want them to be: this is the point of having an open platform.
The same can be said for all programs, apps, games, plug ins, etc you may care to add or subtract from it.
Open platform means totally skinnable interface, do you get it or you bought an iPhone?

Dell's touchy-feely Studio One 19 lands in the US and Europe {Engadget}

Apr 28th 2009 11:11AM I'll definitely buy one of these AIO nettop, but I have seen cheaper and just as good models from Asus , MSI, and others.
At this price I can think of many better options.

Demand for Intel's Atom CPUs finally beginning to cool? {Engadget}

You are right!
You know what?
I'm gonna complain too.

Acer AspireRevo review {Engadget}

Apr 28th 2009 10:30AM I can see that after reading this article we all came to the same conclusion: it would be great if it worked properly; many of us (me included) would probably buy one too, but sadly we (or better Acer) did'nt yet get it right.
Add computing muscle, RAM, and a little graphic processing power and hopefully it will support Flash like such a device is supposed to do, and will make "Heavy Browsing" an enjoyable experience
If it will also seamlessly stream all major formats over Ndraft WIFI I' ll sure find a place for it in my home.
For the moment, next to my main HTPC screen, I feel no need to replace my Niveus Rainer set up.

Video: Android 1.5 'Cupcake' on-screen keyboard and camcorder action {Engadget}

Apr 28th 2009 7:44AM Overall you dont know what you're talking about.
I got rid of my iPhone 3G after a week of disappointments and now it's more than 7 months that I happily use my touchHD and my Samsung Omnia.
I look forward to change at least one of them with a Nokia N97 or a new Toshiba TG01, or HTC superStar or Thoth, but surely this time I'm gonna stay away from Apple 's overpriced and underperforming gear.

Sony rolls out new Bluetooth headphones for in-ear or out {Engadget}

Apr 27th 2009 2:32PM My Nokia bluetooth headphones sound better than any wired earbuds I have ever tried including any Bose model (though not as good as the wired Grado I use at home), they let me answer a call if one should come, and they have never been unpaired once in more than an year I used them.
As headsets I had Jabra and HTC and occasionally they would become unpaired after they had been switched off, but this never happens now with my LG, and my Plantronics voyager Pro headsets.

Seagate Replica does automatic, incremental backup for the everyman {Engadget}

Apr 27th 2009 2:02PM I bought a Netgear Ready NAS duo pro (pioneer edition) and never looked back if not to laugh at Apple's time machine.

Tatung throws its hat into the Android game {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 27th 2009 12:15PM What are you talking about?
The world is chock full of all sorts of touch devices and smartphones using win mobile.
I have got two of them: an HTC touchHD and a Samsung Omnia and they both do an excellent job in making win mobile6.1 touch driven.

Toshiba to ship 32nm process NAND flash memory {Engadget}

Apr 27th 2009 12:07PM I can already feel that I'm getting markedly more jovial.

Fujitsu's FMV LOOX U C50N bumped up to 2GHz Atom Z550 proc, won't look back {Engadget}

Apr 27th 2009 12:05PM It looks like a worthy opponent for the Soni VaioP(which is not tablet).
I was thinking of buying a VaioP when I could find one in a brick and mortar shop , but now I would really be intrested in reading a comparate review of the two UMPC (or whatever they are).
