Blu-ray Discs sliding into public libraries -- has yours made the move? {Engadget HD}
Mar 19th 2009 11:14AM A large number of libraries in the United Kingdom have stocked Blu-ray for the last 18 months or more!
Originally my local one stocked both Blu-ray and HD-DVD, but they sold off all the HD-DVD discs after they 'lost the war'.

Quake II X goes Universal {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
May 12th 2006 10:41AM definitely _not_ the oldest game to be made into a Universal binary.
Quake 1 has been available as a Universal binary for some time at Fruitz of Dojo http://www.fruitz-of-dojo.de/ and the EZQuake (http://ezquake.sf.net/) QuakeWorld client has also been available as a Universal binary for some time.
No doubt there have also been even older games made Universal.
Apple Store Southampton on the way? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Feb 3rd 2006 6:43AM Southampton has been pulled from the Jobs page, pretty much confirming that it is coming (consider previous apple website cockups)
Its rumoured to be filling in the space left by the closed-down Sephora store and either one immediately above or below that (to make a two-storey shop) but apparentely Apple wanted lifts/elevators installed in the shop itself and West Quay wouldn't allow it. Dunno if they reached a compromise or what but looks like its definetely coming to us yay o/
