Nov 6th 2009 2:56PM Yes of COURSE there's a Wii successor in the works, and of COURSE is supports HD. Notice how he uses the present tense in his denial.
What Reggie wants us to do is not delay buying a that Wii that we want in order to wait for the HD edition. A price drop is just a price drop, and it's meant to stimulate Wii buying, not pave the way for the next generation.
Basically, the only information he conveys is that there won't be an HD console announced at CES 2010.
Will they announce one by the end of 2011? They would be idiotic not to.

Oct 29th 2009 8:51PM Recording one copy of a show per customer is pretty straight-forward. You just have to... erm... "optimize" your filesystem to "compress" certain groups of files with similar "characteristics" in common.
I believe they call it "hard linking" :)

Jun 20th 2009 10:40PM $10??? That's the lowest you expect them to charge??? That's the absolute most I would pay for this kind of thing, on a really good movie, with the killer app usage of the digital copy.
It's a copy of a movie that I already bought!!!
This had better be nothing but a convenience charge, or better yet, the first one should be free.

I loved it, and I thought that the 3D added a lot to the experience.
Unfortunately, what it added to my wife's experience was nausea. That alone will probably preclude future family 3D outings, but I may go with friends.
