Panasonic DMP-BD35 & DMP-BD55 Blu-ray players officially official, still unpriced {Engadget HD}

Aug 28th 2008 10:26AM Under $200 is going to be a big reach. I think if it's under $300 I may finally jump in on BR.

Sony debuts $1,500 SACD player with HDMI output {Engadget HD}

Did Microsoft intentionally break commercial skipping in Media Center? {Engadget HD}

Aug 8th 2008 3:33PM thanks khidr! I'll give that a shot. It took me a while how to setup the static IP and port forwarding when I first started, but I figured it out. This doesn't sound that difficult to setup, but I still hate networking.

I really miss being able to have Met's day games streaming in the corner of my screen while I'm at work. Maybe once I get this working again I finally figure out how to get webguide to work on my phone, (Verizon LG Voyager) I could never get any of the streaming to work on my phone.

Did Microsoft intentionally break commercial skipping in Media Center? {Engadget HD}

Aug 8th 2008 2:42PM My webguide broke when my cable company was bought out by Comcast. The webguide program used to tell me what address I need to put in a browser to access my PC from another location, but now that I have comcast, it doesn't tell me anymore. It just lists the address for local PC's to connect. Any ideas on how to find out what the address is so that I can access my PC from anywhere?

Hands-on with the Vista Media Center TV Pack {Engadget HD}

Aug 6th 2008 1:36PM Here's another question. How do you even get updates from Dell? Their website is horrible and doesn't just show you updates that apply for your PC, and the update program (has a water ripple icon) that comes up once a month that tells me to look for updates never finds anything.

Aug 1st 2008 3:53PM HOw about they release some players that are even in the realm of being reasonably priced and aren't guaranteed to be obsolete within 6 months?

Jul 22nd 2008 5:30PM I have a 50" Sammy DLP, the one right before they went to LED, and I love it. I would take it over any LCD tv anyday. So what if I can't hang it on a wall? Big deal.
