Jun 4th 2008 6:47AM As before - I want to mention that Iceland's former state incumbent telecom Siminn has been delivering HD via IPTV set-top boxes since last autumn. Still we only have Dicovery HD, but that's a good starter. I was in a test group for it and it worked like a charm.
Delivery mechanism is via MPLS backbone through ADSL2 capable DSLAMS to the home. STB connected to a ADSL2 capable router.

Jun 1st 2008 1:11PM Yay, up here in Iceland the incumbent telecom company Siminn has been delivering HD via IPTV STB's since last autumn. So far only Discovery HD has been available but that's HD for ya, 720p goodness.
