Vizio readies 26-inch VMM monitor: its first LCD aimed at dedicated PC users {Engadget}

Jul 28th 2008 1:33PM Title of the article really needs an "its" or "the company's" before "first."

GEF robot stomps even the most prolific air hockey players {Engadget}

Jul 11th 2008 5:33PM I don't think you mean to use the word "prolific" here. Probably "proficient?"

"Prolific" just doesn't make any sense.

Sharp still sees lots of life in LCD, brushes OLED off like it's paparazzi {Engadget HD}

Jun 30th 2008 8:55AM How short-sighted can these companies be? Mind-boggling.

Kazuharu Sakura's leather keyboard: only touch typists need apply {Engadget}

Jun 16th 2008 8:41AM Wish unique keyboards like this would become more readily available over here in the states. Definitely something I'd be interested in trying, at least.

Unfortunate how little tactile innovation has been made on keyboards.

Video: Pioneer's AVIC-F Series of in-car navigators to take on Sync {Engadget}

May 29th 2008 6:15AM The more pressing matter at hand should be that... they're "competing" for virtually nil marketshare.

I mean, obviously it's a ploy to try to push more of the Zune's sagging sales by pairing them with this system, but who honestly relies on their Sync? I haven't seen anyone who's even wowed by it, much less opted for its package.

Asus Eee PC 900 hits the US on May 12th {Engadget}

Apr 19th 2008 8:02PM So, uh, with the Mini Note being $500 ($550 for what I think is the most economical and reasonable one, I guess) and this 900 still using essentially the same processor as its predecessor...

That's really taken all the bite out of the EEE for me. I see virtually no reason to get this 900. The $300-$400 700 series still pack a price punch, especially if you put the effort into customizing them a little. But, not this one.

HD DVD ad to air during Super Bowl XLII, BDA sez it's futile {Engadget HD}

Jan 30th 2008 3:18PM This is just getting ridiculous...
$3 million on an ad, and they haven't made $3 million in the past MONTH on HD-DVD, by Nielsen's numbers. I mean, really. How many people are going to rush out and buy a 1080i HD-A3 because of an ad on the Superbowl? Not $3 million worth, anyways.

Why dig the hole deeper?

CES 2008 ultimate swag bag giveaway: like a Xmas stocking in January {Engadget}

Jan 10th 2008 11:14PM Positively the new, bigger OLED screens.
