Nov 11th 2009 9:32PM If it were on the iPod touch you'd have to pay $0.99 for each extra track to play with. Oh wait, that's EA. Screw you EA!
I am entirely jealous of Worms on the iPod touch though, that game alone nearly made me buy one. If that ever comes to the Zune HD..
Zune HD Marketplace now loaded with free 3D games {Engadget}
Nov 11th 2009 9:40AM Any of you lucky Zune HD owners (still rockin' my brown Zune 30) please post some videos of what the games are like on YouTube :) If they're anything like those in the promotional shot, I will again import my Zune.
Audiosurf ain't even free on the PC, this is just too good.
AMEX DIGITAL's Mac mini Blu-ray drive upgrade kit is not what it seems {Engadget}
Nov 11th 2009 7:42AM Not possible, you need hardware acceleration (more than just Direct3D) to decode H.264 streams. The decoder won't be able to communicate with the video card in a VM so it just wouldn't work, not to mention HDCP issues and whatnot.
After searching the net, people have tried - and all have failed. PowerDVD spits out an error, so does Nero.
Only solution is to use Bootcamp on OS X at the moment.

NVIDIA Fermi GT300 GPU delayed until 2010? {Engadget}
Nov 10th 2009 3:50AM Old news, we know it's been delayed for at least a few days now. Semi-Accurate exposed them several times. There won't be products on the shelves by Jan 2010, more than likely Feb at the earliest.
Gigabyte fixes iPhone sync issue with BIOS update {Engadget}
Nov 9th 2009 9:59AM Beta has many different meanings within software, sometimes it means highly unstable and sometimes it means complete without official sanction.
I am currently running a beta Gigabyte BIOS and have been for at least a year. And these days it's relatively trivial to recover from a bad flash, as the above poster mentions.
DocuPen X hits earth for all your pen scanner needs {Engadget}
Nov 8th 2009 8:53AM I just use my mobile phone with the macro setting. But if you were required to copy/paste text from paper frequently in a job, the pen scanner could be really useful.
NVIDIA takes its feud with Intel to cartoonish new levels {Engadget}
Nov 5th 2009 10:45PM At the end of the day no matter how powerful the PS3 is on paper, the graphics on both consoles are nearly identical. I remember reading into a lot of this a while ago and there are advantages to both but they level out.
Sometimes (as mentioned above) the 360 will perform better because things are optimised for it and then ported to the PS3. There was that big article on frame-rates in GTA:IV measured with some high end equipment and the Xbox 360 came out ahead. I don't believe the PS3 has native anti-aliasing. I also remember in GTA:IV they had some effect turned on for the 360 which actually made the detail look worse, it would look better if it was turned off. Long time ago, but you can read it here - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/grand-theft-auto-iv-ps3-vs-xbox-360-special-article?page=1
