Blu-Link universal remote for PS3 is your ticket to weight gain
Sick of all the physical effort involved in shuffling multiple remotes? Back in the day (that is, until yesterday) if you wanted to use a universal remote control with your PS3 you had to get some sort of IR-to-Bluetooth adapter, like the one available for the Logitech Harmony. SMK, however, is looking to change that (and reinforce your inertia in the process) with Blu-Link. This bad boy combines a Bluetooth PS3 controller with a standard infrared universal remote. Other features include advanced learning (for gleaning button assignments from your other remotes) and support for more than 400 brands of standard and HDTV televisions and flatscreens, 150 VCR brands, 200 Satellite Receiver models, 100 Cable TV Receiver brands, 50 DVR models and 200 home theater surround sound systems. Available September 1st for $49.95. HIt the read link for more info.

Nah, nothin to be proud of. Just figured I'd post SOMETHING.
I never do the first thing, and generally despise those that do. Imagine how I am feeling about myself now.
It's a tough life, but someone has to live it.

Sad thing is PS3 supports only 1 remote at a time.
I want 2 remotes, one in the family room and one in the bedroom, cos I simulcast 1 PS3 to 2 HDTVs using a HDTV splitter.

Does it do macros and remember the state of your devices between macros? If not, pass.

Hey, Engadget HD should review this remote and give it away in a giveaway. Or, y'all should just buy me one anyway. ;)

If only they would have also included the green button (yeah, I know I could use the learning feature) then it would truly be universal.

+1
It /would/ be super-sweet to have dedicated PS3 buttons /and/ The Green Button, but it does have a button under the DVR controls that's called "Home"...

Where are the three ABC colored buttons I must have to run my Cox Cable Motorola HDDVR?
JohnC @ Sep 2nd 2009 12:53AM
Are they implying that the remote weighs a lot (that it's heavy) or that it controls a lot?
JohnC @ Sep 2nd 2009 12:53AM
Is this the first remote all-in-one to do this?

Hopefully this will put pressure on Logitech to start offering a Harmony with built in Bluetooth. The nickel and diming of a $60 IR to BT adapter after you've paid a few hundred for the remote is just rediculous. I'll pass on this one though as I just love the programmability of my harmony.
