Lost, Desperate Housewives & Grey's Anatomy streaming to Netflix Watch Instantly
This weekend, the first four seasons of Lost suddenly became available for streaming (in HD even) via Netflix Watch Instantly, and now Netflix and Disney-ABC have announced an agreement (an extension to the deal that already brought Disney episodes of JONAS, Hannah Montana and more to the service the day after they aired) that will bring even more familiar content to the service. Desperate Housewives and Legend of the Seeker already have some seasons available, while the fifth seasons of Grey's Anatomy, Lost and Desperate Housewives are coming along for the ride in September. We're sure the Lostpedia heads have already bought and doubled up on the series DVD and Blu-ray releases, but for everyone else struggling to remember what the hell is so important about that island, it's easier than ever to catch up before the final season starts.

Never seen Lost. I'll give it a whirl. It'll also give me a chance to try out Netflix through Win7.
The rest I can't put forth enough effort to say 'meh' to.

How about some shows that men watch?

LOST is for women?

How about some replies that aren't from trolls?
Both men & women love Lost. If you don't, guess what? It's OK. As human beings we're allowed to enjoy different things. For now, let's all be friends and enjoy our differences!
You'll catch on in time!

Now I see why all the Lost episodes disappeared from ABC.com. They used to have 100 episodes available to watch in streaming HD on their site, but about a week ago, all but the pilot and some of the last season were taken off. Lucky for me, it happened mere hours after I completed watching season 4!
I assume they have some deal that gives Netflix some kind of online streaming exclusivity. Too bad, cause the quality was pretty good on ABC.com. I doubt Netflix will be anything approaching HD.

netflix does hd.... and better hd than you would get from a browser.
that said this is a good deal for netflix.... they now have agreements of some sort in place with abc,cbs and nbc. The only major network not on board yet is fox.

I haven't tried Netfilx Watch Instantly myself, so I can't say how they compare. But it sounds like you haven't tried ABC.com either. If someone has seen both, I'd like to hear a comparison.
Anyway, I was assuming that Lost won't necessarily even be offered in HD, as it isn't mentioned in the article, or shown in the picture above. So it's still possible that ABC offered the only streaming HD option for Lost.

I like the pornographic sound of the phrase "lost, desperate housewives."
