Ok, I gave it a whirl. I don't really get it though. Why do I install software that just provides an interface to videos that are available online? I clicked on a Spike video to see a chick with a bottle rocket in her butt and instead I was shown a video of some lady saying "where's satan?" to her dog while it snarled. On top of that the application looked just like I was watching it in my browser. It didn't just show me the video, it took me to the entire webpage complete with a talking Tiger Woods ad. No thanks.

jeremy - apps like plex & boxee are meant to be used on a big screen tv and controlled with a remote. I'm not sure what this app does, but it sounds like it may be a bit buggy. i've seen boxee show the full web site but only temporarily before the video goes full screen.

I tried it (on Win XP), and found that it was buggy and pales in comparison to Boxee and XBMC

Been running Zinc on Windows 7 and found it works great. Best part is that it allows Hulu Play. It does take you direct to the web page, but using the "full screen" button on any media center remote will bring the video to full screen. Myself I've just been using Air Mouse on my iphone to control it and this seems to work great.

I was running Boxee and checked out Zinc, and think it is very cool! I searched for the shows I watch and added them to favorites. It's so much easier customize.
