According to an Associated Press source, DirecTV CEO Chase Carey is in talks to return to News Corp. as Rupert Murdoch's second in command, which at least one analyst believes could be an indication the company will be sold outright soon, possibly to AT&T. Well this will be fantastic... first AT&T screws up my service with Cingular, now they can do it with my DirecTV service... The only good thing I can say about them is their DSL and even then, they keep jacking up the price to be similar to cable but at only half the speed. It used to be nice when I could pay $25 for a 6mbps connection, but now it's almost $40 and I can't get anything faster!
