A lot of people will say that going beyond hd is not neccesary because the human eye can not tell the difference between hd and 4k or 8k but I believe that Our eyes are capable of seeing a lot more than we think. Hd is not as clear as real life (it's good but not great) and it needs to get better. I have seen 4k and the difference is mind blowing. We have a long way to go and this might be a step on the right direction. 120hz, 240hz, 4k, 8k, still not even close to human eye sharpness, depth or refresh rate. Isn't sight so preciuos.

Titolajko

Comments on JVC debuts 8K / 4K prototype camcorders, moviemakers drool

I know about the 4K (Blogged about it at http://bit.ly/SzNux) Are you sure about the 8K?

....brad....
www.bradfortner.com

Brad Fortner

Comments on JVC debuts 8K / 4K prototype camcorders, moviemakers drool

Yeah, says 4K on the camera and the PR... they have 8K projectors announced (and shipping?) but 8K digital film??
