I just recently moved from my FIOS equipped apartment where I was paying $84 a month for Internet+phone to a brand new house I purchased with my wife - to - lowly DSL (because FIOS isn't available yet) and now I'm paying $60 a month for spotty, slow internet until FIOS is available.
I was getting 18,000 kbps up/6000down with FIOS and now I'm getting 1400 down, 500 up with DSL.
I am so unhappy.

I could download a Gigabyte in just 10 minutes on FIOS. Now, I can barely use HULU.com.

Yay, Gaithersburg!!! I pester my city councilman about this so often he emailed me the day after he voted for it, just to head me off.
