Cool.. Though it would seem that since the action is so fast paced the differences between smooth & crisp might be hard to notice. In still shots I prefer "Crisp" seems like a nice mix between smooth & classic.

Even in youtube-HD, that video compresses the detail enough that you can't see quite how big of a difference it is between the filtered sprites and the old ones blown up (much less the 2 filters). In motion, on your own TV, you would be able to tell more clearly and I think that the 'crisp' setting looks quite nice as well.

Keep it classic. That said, these aren't as bad as the blurry, smeary filters placed on many modern 2D rereleases. The original 3D backgrounds upscale well and the sprites really pop against them. Day one purchase for me.

downloaded and played last night. on a 50", upscaled or not, it definitely shows its age compared to SSF2 HD remix. but looks play second fiddle here- gameplay is as silky smooth and lighting quick as ever.

Where does the "HD" come from if all they're doing is upscaling the old sprites? I have Super Puzzle Fighter HD and it does upscaling too. Some graphics have been revamped such as the gems and menus but others are just upscaled and they look awful.

The sound is still remain lame (2.0) and no adjustment at all.
