Just as we'd
heard,
Disney has worked out a deal with
Hulu that includes taking a piece of the streaming video site, joining NBC Universal, News Corporation and Providence Equity Partners as owners and bringing Disney TV shows and movies to the site. Expect
Lost,
Desperate Housewives,
Greek,
General Hospital and the like so show up after the deal closes, no word on any delay periods and the only content not mentioned in the deal appears to be ESPN related properties. Also sadly missing from the announcement? Any word of increased HD streaming on Hulu, lets hope they
take a page from ABC.com and get right on that.

Nice to see, but i afraid Hulu might soon charge people to view their content..

Hulu already had links to streaming video from ABC.com, except ABC's video streaming sucks pretty bad. It's unstable, slow, and unresponsive. I'll be glad to see ABC content available DIRECTLY from Hulu now.

Hulu is awesome. always great to see more support for it. they have a great formula too, i don't mind watching a couple 30 second ads to get the vid for free, and the 4 minute (or however long it is) ad to watch commercial free is even better.
i actually very rarely watch TV anymore, i just catch all my shows on Hulu at my convenience since i'm rarely home by 9 to watch them anyway (either at work, school, or out with friends).

If only Disney had anything worth watching. :( As for the HD part...bah. It's part of hulu. Free TV is good enough for me. I don't really care if it's HD. We've got several HDTVS. Overall meh. I've had HDTVs for 8 years - image quality does not make a show better.

If I ever got this TV in my house I would cancel my TV service and stick with my netflix blurays.
The frame of the TV could look better but the rest drops my jaw.
