AT&T U-Verse has been available in my area since late 2008. I was tempted at first, but then I noticed that the pricing would come out to be the same as my current Time Warner. And that is with slower internet and not including fees for extra set top boxes for all of my televisions. The only sign-up deal they have is a $200 rebate. I'd rather have a locked in low price for 6 months or a year. They've already raised the advertised price once in the past five months.
What's the point of competition if it doesn't offer lower prices? I thought that was the point of competition.
