The only detriment to projection are slight overscan issues. Balancing that is:1. Glorious color2. Glorious power consumption3. Glorious brightness - and no loss in screen brightness over time unlike LCD/plasma.If you spend more than an hour a day in front of the tv, then buy this screen and downgrade your car (unless you spend more than 2 hours a day in it).I am rarely impressed by new product releases or technology. This impresses me...frikken lasers!
