The new division will now be headed by Darren Murph. Reporting for him will be Ben Drawbaugh, who will head up the Brave Face Subdivision, which will promote market share information, and a TBA, who will be taking over Murph's previous role running the Toshiba Monitoring Subdivision. Warner hopes that the new structure and rebranding will guarantee that Blu-ray sales reach parity with DVD, just like Sony promised they would do last year."

squiggleslash

Comments on Time Warner spills details on TWC spinoff

Maybe they can finally increase internet speeds and QOS.

Ravi

Comments on Time Warner spills details on TWC spinoff

How about some DOCSIS 3.0 in Dallas so I can get faster broadband (since I can't get FIOS).

Big Sam

Comments on Time Warner spills details on TWC spinoff

In other words, that's Wall Street Speak for "This combination should have never happened, we just got caught up in the mergers and acquisition "me too-ism" of the previous century. I tried using the default they have and it didn't resolve names at all fast enough. The connection seemed slow and unresponsive. Suddenly I switch to OpenDNS and bam! The speed at which the connection operates seems like it should (faster domain resolution). They should really take a page from Insight and offer 20/10 or 20/20 packages, not to mention the network stability that Insight has.

R-Tug
