since 1/12, when mine arrived, i've had a few random reboots and one freezeup that made me have to unplug the thing... but otherwise smooth sailing, taping 10-15 hours a week. reboots seem to happen most often when watching something from the DVR and/or while watching live TV and recording, so i just leave it in standby when recording and haven't had any issues. though I also recorded and watched both the oscars and the presidential address on tuesday and started both while it was recording with no issue.
I'm pretty happy with it, having been without any kind of DVR/VCR/recorder of any kind since giving up my cable service.
