My was put into service on 12/26/2008 and have had zero lockups and zero reboots. Sure there are some software bugs that cause funky labeling of shows when one show is missing data, but the recordings have all been in tact and perfect (well as perfect as the station sends them out).
I'm glad I bought mine, works great in the home theater and no issues during the 5 hours it was on for the Super Bowl.
