The day Hulu is opened up and provided using open standards, then it will be supported by this kind of box. Hopefully Hulu will do that change soon. Hulu could work with the box makers to provide overlay advertising monetization or to stream some pre-roll and post-roll advertisments. That would be a firmware issue but it could be done and that would unlock access to a huge amount of videos. The same overlay and pre-roll and post-roll agreement needs to be made with Youtube and other content providers.<br><br>Also, Youtube could provide all of their content as BitTorrent downloads, which would enable them to save on bandwidth costs and provide a higher HD quality to all the users. With the overlay and pre-roll and post-roll firmware integration, then the targetted advertising can also be inserted just during the playback of the content.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Charbax]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Jan 7th 2009 5:28PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
