I recently had the pleasure of trying out the AH-D2000s and they were wonderful. If you want hi-end, closed-back headphones, these Denon's (2000, 5000, 7000) should be on the top of your list.

While my 2000's don't have the wood and some of the other luxury stuff the 7000's have, I don't feel at all guilty about using them heavily. I would imagine the team who designed this line of headphones would be delighted to see a pair chewed up and ugly from heavy use.
