I thought you were a legitimate complainer when you said that TWC downconverts and upconverts. There are some systems out there that precisely do that because of inadequate hardware and tranmission systems. However, to say that TWC downconverts and upconverts and also does A/D and D/A just because they use copper!!!! That is absurd. Everyone uses copper! Howelse do you carry. This is totally false. How do you think OTA digital TV is transmitted from your antenna to your TV? It is through a coax cable..the same kind that the cable, satellite, and telco guys use.

From the HD I get from TW, I really have no complaints. The picture quality is very good..granted, it really depends on the source. Some of the broadcasters do a very good job (CBS, DIscovery, History) others are marginal (local NBC station). I also would like to see USA and Sci-Fi in HD.
