TWC lines up a new batch of HD additions for Southwest Ohio
Time Warner Cable came through on its promise to bring 14 new high-definition channels to Cincinnati, Ohio this month, so we don't see any reason why it'll let locals down in December. According to a blurb on the carrier's website, it is "currently involved in discussions" to bring a whole heap of new HD channels to Southwest Ohio. If agreements can be nailed down within the next few weeks, residents could see USA HD, Sci-Fi HD, MSNBC HD, Bravo HD, Science Channel HD, Animal Planet HD, ESPNews HD, FX HD, Weather Channel HD, Golf Channel HD, Versus HD, Big Ten Network HD, Cinemax HD and Starz HD. Cross your fingers for a Christmas miracle.[Thanks, Dayton Guy]

This is outrageous. What about northeast Ohio time warner? We still get our crappy HD lineup?
Bogus..

maybe it's because you like Obama? Maybe just maybe they don't want to help someone who voted for this countries sorriest excuse for a president ever? Maybe?

It's because SDV is rolled out here in South West Ohio and not in the North East.

Your right that I voted for Obama, but the rest is static to my ears. It's probably because Ted Turner, one of the richest, would be offended about how Northeast Ohio didn't vote for his boy John McCain.. But for real, political stance has nothing to do with Time Warner cable as a whole, I'm what, 1 of 4,000,000 customers? I'm glad my icon is the only thing you have to comment about.

nonetheless i'm very excited for this new HD i will be getting soon.
but you see you are complaining... just like a democrat so i guess it all fits together?
markyb @ Nov 30th 2008 12:06AM
But as a republican your just salty Barack won, and your rich capital city has enough money to throw at time warner for them to do some work. You were complaining about voting for Obama so I'm a little lost. Grow up.
THizzle7XU @ Nov 30th 2008 4:49PM
BTW. Cincinnati isn't the capitol of Ohio. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
markyb @ Nov 30th 2008 5:02PM
No I know Columbus is, but Cincinnati sure pulls in more dough.

Well, either way, TWC has had a far longer presence in Southwest Ohio and they have controlled the infrastructure for a long time. Remember that Time Warner is still building up it's infrastructure in the Cleveland area from the Comcast/Adelphia takeover. I know, I've lived in both cities equally the last five years from attending college and going home, and using Time Warner in both markets. It has nothing to do with Cincy having more money.

NBC-Universal HD channels? On Time Warner? It's a Christmas miracle! When can I get these in San Diego? Before January 16? Please?
