Warner Bros. isn't content with just loosing
The Polar Express on 3D Blu-ray -- oh no, it's got another pair of titles set for a holiday launch. Famed classic
Casablanca will finally be getting the Blu-ray treatment it deserves this December 2nd when it arrives in Ultimate Collector's Edition form. The $64.99 package ($59.98 on DVD) is reportedly "elegantly boxed in an intricate laser-cut Moroccan design and will include such collectibles as replicas of actual props (Victor Laszlo's "Letter of Transit") as well as a number of Warner studio documents. Going from one of the greatest love stories of all time to one of the raunchiest comedies of the past, oh, score,
Austin Powers Collection: Shagadelic Edition, Loaded With Extra Mojo will be uncomfortably landing alongside the aforementioned gem on the same day. The collection-only package will include the entire trilogy in Blu-ray high-def for $74.98.

Thank dog they aren't bundling them together. It's traditional to use commas to separate items and slashes to join them.
So, your headline would imply that WB is issuing a box set containing Casablance and Austin Powers. A shocking situation to be sure.
I realize blogs aren't "news" but if you want to be taken seriously you should use correct punctuation.

It threw me for a loop too, but I kinda like the idea of an Austin Powers and Casablanca box set. It'd look nice next to my copies of Hanna Montana and Lawrence of Arabia.

Grammar? The art of the written word? Journalism? Wrong site :)

Casablanca on Blu-ray will be great addition to my collection, but I guess I'm not an "Ultimate Collector" since I definitely don't have any interest in the "laser cut Moroccan-design box". I hope they will be releasing a "regular" special edition alongside this one.
why not the LS2LS7? @ Aug 19th 2008 12:28PM
These prices are ridiculous.

Smashing baby!
Do hope they come out a normal Casablanca though as I too don't care about the extra stuff. And really the Austin Powers set is not ridiculously priced, $25 a movie isn't bad for MSRP, of course though you could probably get all 3 on DVD for $15.

The Casablanca release should be cool, albeit overpriced. The HD-DVD version looked amazing.

I'll keep my $20 HD DVD copy bought almost two years ago on my dead format player, thank you, Warner. Still in stock over at Amazon for $20 too. Purple people should consider it unless Warner actually releases a stand alone version.

Great, another HD DVD movie released for twice the price on blu-ray.
