I have a WinTV-HVR 900 DVB-T / Analogue model. The hardware is okay but the software is terrible. It's as though Hauppauge sent different parts of the program (EPG, Tuner, TV, PVR) off to different disconnected teams, allowed the most junior programmer to create the UI, ensured that no usability or UI design occurred at any stage, cobbled the result up as WinTV and inflicted it on their users. I don't even know how they managed to make it look so awful - even the straightforward tabbed dialogs manage to look like some Borland C++ atrocity from 1995.
All that can be said for it is that it works, but I expect a lot more than that. It might work better through media centre or Nero Home but I haven't tried to see.
It's a shame because the hardware seems pretty good. If there is one thing that annoys me it is a company which puts so much effort into good hardware and then ruin those efforts with trash software.
