The RED team claims they can compress 2 hours of 4K footage plus 5.1 surround sound audio onto a DVD-9 and play it back on this new device. I call bullsh*t, but if their wavelet codecs are advanced enough, it might be possible. (It's impossible with DCT codecs like H.264)
