A look at Crestron's DVPHD-Pro in action

As if an eight input, 1080p HD video switch with RS-232 and USB control wasn't cool enough on its own, at Crestron's EHX 2008 booth this year we got to really see what makes the DVPHD-Pro so special. As you can see from the image, you can watch all eight 1080p sources on your display at the exact same time. We only wish the thing didn't cost $17k -- and that doesn't even include the $8k touch-screen.

not worth it

This is cool, but I have designed several systems with 100-120" screens flanked by 4 42-52" flat screens. Yes, that is only 5 screens, but that system with high end audio only cost $55k (no furniture included).

Does this TV come with a hoverboard and Nike's with power-laces?

I have used this system... it is awesome. They have a Quad and Dual also. I also like the 4k touch panel better that does Skype and Yahoo widgets which will hopefully be in my house by June. Hopefully my company doesn't find a use for it

This system is really cool, but we normally do multiple LCDs/Plasmas with a motorized screen if someone really wants this. For most clients $18k is a drop in the bucket.

Dont know if this will make it more affordable but as far as I know this beast ist NOT 50k but more in the USD 17k-20k region!
