Two new HD stations coming to Canada
Now this is what we're
talking about! More HD stations! Bell ExpressVU is adding two new 24/7
HD stations both with all original programing. Check this out: Treasure HD is all about what people 'treasure' and collect.
The second one, OasisHD, is "devoted to exploring nature
in the many new and exciting ways made possible through the power and impact of High Definition." Sweet!Candadian HD viewers might have already noticed these stations added to their lineup. As of March 12th viewers can enjoy these for a three month period, there is no word on what happens on June 12th though.
Has anyone seen these stations yet? Tell us about them.

I have been watching them since Monday on Expressvu. So far I like Oasis, Treasure not so much. Oasis is made for HD, lots of nature, saw a program on Florida's aquafer that blew me away (not just the video, but the fact that most of Florida is sitting on giant freshwater filled limestone caves big enough to dive in!). Tresure on the other hand isnt for me, HD programming on the Chicago collectors show seems to be a waste of bandwidth (but to each their own).
Keep the HD coming!!!

Yeah I noticed yesterday these channels. They are both great. The picture quality is really up there in my opionion same level as discoveryHD. I really enjoy the Oasis channel as well. And my wife has been watching alot of Tresure.
It makes me so happy to get new speciality HD channels :-)

You know what we need? The HD Fire channel. We need more channels that marvel in HD, because of it's beautiful picture.
WRONG.
We need channels that people will want to watch for more than just the fact that they're pretty. We've got enough crap in the world without having to have 30 channels of "InHD" where programming their station involves figuring out which chunk to repeat over 6 hours.
Let's get some real programming that happens to be in HD. Move more channels over quicker, don't create new channels that are "pretty."

This explains why they were shuffling their satellites around during the first couple of days of March. I saw these channels in the guide on monday as well.
I havn't watched either channel yet, but I would have preferred something else, but it is better than having another french channel.

And an interesting tidbit.....
